Our graduatestudents find the Ship MBA convenient, reputable, and affordable.Part-timeThe Ship MBA program is delivered in several convenient formatsand locations in south central and eastern Pennsylvania including<strong>Shippensburg</strong>, Harrisburg, York, and East Stroudsburg. The ShipMBA Professional format is a part-time program offered in theevening with online and web components and can be completedin two years by taking two courses a semester on one night a week.Video conferencing technology provides students with the opportunityto attend class at either <strong>Shippensburg</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Dixon<strong>University</strong> Center in Harrisburg, the York Learning Center, or atEast Stroudsburg. Two-thirds of each course is taught in an electronicclassroom and delivered via video conferencing technology through<strong>Shippensburg</strong> <strong>University</strong> to the Harrisburg, York, and East Stroudsburglocations, thus providing students the opportunity to interactwith the professor and other students face-to-face from multiplesites. Students spend two-thirds of their class time in the electronicclassroom and one-third on web-based activities, providing studentswith flexibility and convenience in completing their course work.Each class meeting is digitally recorded, so that when students cannotattend class due to work requirements, they may view the missedclasses online via video streaming. Employers desiring to have theirelectronic conference room added as a video conferencing site for the<strong>Shippensburg</strong> M.B.A. should contact the M.B.A. office.Full-timeThe Ship MBA Emerging Leaders cohort is a full-time program,which offers day classes and the opportunity for a business practicum.Designed for recent college graduates, this one-year cohort programcombines classroom study with an optional business practicum thatprovides students the opportunity to gain meaningful professional experiencewhile extending their studies at the graduate level. Studentswill attend classes all day on Wednesday in Harrisburg or <strong>Shippensburg</strong>allowing for a Business Practicum to be scheduled according tostudent and employer needs. The cohort format encourages camaraderieand support among classmates since the same group of studentsmoves through the degree program together.OnlineThe Ship MBA is also delivered in a convenient 100 percent onlineformat. Online courses allow students more flexibility in schedulingtheir time, but each course also includes optional opportunities tointeract with the faculty member and other students directly throughweb-conferencing. Some exams may be proctored and requirestudents to arrange an appointment at an approved proctoring site.Students can complete the entire program in an online format on apart-time basis in two years.The John L. Grove College of Business is accredited by AACSBInternational, which certifies the quality of the curriculum, faculty,and support services. The program consists of 10 courses (30 credits),which includes 8 core courses and 2 elective courses. The core coursescover critical elements of business management in today’s technologicallyadvanced and global business environment. The course sequenceis flexible, as most core courses do not have prerequisites beyond thebasic requirements to enter the M.B.A. program.Admission RequirementsUndergraduate course work and degree, relevant work experience,essay, and GMAT score will be evaluated and form the basisfor admission. To be eligible for admission to the M.B.A. programapplicants must:• Have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited collegeor university.• Provide a GMAT score.
