Hmmmm, hang on one second. No,you can't sell it to everyone, however you could do very well with atargeted sales campaign – meaning you have correctly identifiedyour target customers. Research indicates roughly 50% of thesuccess of a sales campaign solely depends on correctidentification of the right target customers.Obviously this mean you must clearly know who your customersare to be effective in marketing and sales – to write the right copyfor those targets. You can do this several ways, and one of themost obvious ones is to research your existing customer base. Youwould be looking for buying behavior, motivators and othercustomer attributes – such as – when they buy, how much theyspend, what brands they like, etc. You could call this process datamining, and in some instances, you would want to farm this kind ofwork out to specialists.31
