Product requirementsAll items must comply with our product requirements, including envelope layoutstandards for machine-sorted mail and addressing layout standards, as updated fromtime to time.For full details of our requirements refer to our website at www.nzpost.co.nz/bulkmailand www.nzpost.co.nz/addressing, or the following brochures:Domestic Bulk Mail Envelope Layout Standards (ADV391)Bulk Mail rate card (ADV393).These brochures are available on our website, www.nzpost.co.nz, or by callingour Customer Service Centre on 0800 501 501.We recommend that you have the design of your envelope assessed prior to printing byfaxing it to our Customer Service Centre on 0800 424 802 or emailingfp.pp@nzpost.co.nz.We will check your mail at a <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> Mail Service Centre to see if it meetsthe product requirements. If your mail does not meet these requirements, it will beuprated to the applicable product (and you will be charged on the basis of theapplicable product to which your mail has been uprated, not Volume<strong>Post</strong> 3).Permit<strong>Post</strong> impressionEach item must have an approved Permit<strong>Post</strong> impression, which includes:an approved <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> standard Permit<strong>Post</strong> impression;your allocated Permit<strong>Post</strong> number; andthe words ‘<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong>’.The Permit<strong>Post</strong> impression must be on the top right hand corner of the envelope (or, ifyou are using a re-usable envelope, top centre) on the same side as the deliveryaddress. For further information, refer to the Domestic Bulk Mail Envelope LayoutStandards (ADV391) and the Permit<strong>Post</strong> section of this <strong><strong>Post</strong>al</strong> Users’ <strong>Guide</strong>.Only standard Permit<strong>Post</strong> impressions are acceptable for Volume<strong>Post</strong> 3.Delivery addressAll items must have a valid <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> delivery address, including the correct<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> postcode.We will monitor your returned mail volumes. We reserve the right to charge you fullpostage rates for any returned mail.Statement of AccuracyA Statement of Accuracy (SOA) ID and % rating must be declared on the Statement of<strong>Post</strong>ing accompanying the lodgement. If the declaration is missing or incomplete, nonconformancerates will apply (see the Bulk Mail rate card (ADV393) for details).All lodgements must have an SOA of 85% to continue to receive Volume<strong>Post</strong> 3 rates onthe total lodgement.
