Print PreSort Terms and ConditionsSummary of keyrequirementsFor sending magazines, periodicals and catalogues presented in <strong>Post</strong>ie runsequence within <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong>. <strong>Post</strong>ie run sequence is the order of addresses oneach <strong>Post</strong>ie’s delivery route.Magazines and periodicals are publications with fixed titles that are publishedregularly, at least twice a year. Catalogues are substantial publications that marketproducts and services to, and invite purchases from, their recipients, and arepublished at least twice a year.Print PreSort cannot be used for delivering handbooks, manuals, directories orannual reports. Sales flyers or circulars do not meet the definition of a cataloguefor the purposes of Print PreSort, even if published regularly.Minimum lodgement is 5,000 items within the applicable maximum dimensions. Aminimum of 85% of items must be printed in a single continuous <strong>Post</strong>ie runsequence. Aggregation of files of lesser volumes is allowed provided theconsolidated file is re-sequenced to provide one continuously sequenced file.If your lodgement does not meet these requirements <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> reservesthe right to uprate your entire lodgement to the next applicable product.To use this product you must:Have a Permit<strong>Post</strong> TM number, and be a <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> Account customer;Supply your addressing data, ideally with attached DPIDs, to your mailhouseor, PreSort certified provider for sequencing;Present your mail in the specified sequence, including additional addresselements as required;Label your mail with the appropriate labels;Submit the following data for each lodgement as part of your LodgementManager manifest;oooooStatement of Accuracy (“SOA”) unique ID from which the mailfile hasbeen sourcedSOA % relevant to the SOA Unique ID provided abovedate of <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> sequence file used for the sequencingnumber of sequenced and unsequenced itemsnumber of items in each <strong>Post</strong>ie Round code.Each mail file lodged must be sequenced from the same <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong>sequence file version;Lodge on or within 2 months after the date of <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> sequence fileused for sequencing. If the lodgement is outside this period, it will be upratedto the next most applicable product;Retain each sequenced address file for a period of 30 days from the date oflodgement and provide it on request for sequence quality audit purposes;Adhere to the Domestic Bulk Mail Envelope Layout Standards (ADV391) andaddress and layout guide (ADV356).<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> reserves the right to machine-process items if it is possible to doso.PUG 8h (October 2013) Page 1 of 6
