More than biotechnology and nanotechnology,broadband has caught the imagination of the world’sgovernments as the technology most likely to serve this role inour own era,” said World Bank’s Valerie D’Costa. 14 In fact, evensuch an exalted statement may understate broadband’spotential. Already various Asian nations have carved out their niche in thisprocess.
