Installed with a <strong>TraceTek</strong> alarmand locating module, the cable senses theliquid, triggers an alarm, and pinpoints thelocation of the leak.Distributed sensing<strong>TraceTek</strong> TT5001 sensing cable providesdistributed leak detection and location <strong>for</strong> awide range of applications. Cable lengthscan be arranged to provide as much coverageas necessary.Design flexibilityThe TT5001 sensing cable is available ina variety of lengths with factory-installedconnectors. These modular sensingcables may be connected in series to providedistributed monitoring <strong>for</strong> trenches,subfloors, and double-containment piping,or used individually <strong>for</strong> double-containmenttanks, sumps, and small areas.TT5001 zone sensing cable—whichcomes with a factory-installed heat-shrinkend termination—is also available <strong>for</strong>small area coverage.Advanced technologyRaychem’s radiation-crosslinking and conductive-polymertechnologies are used tomake <strong>TraceTek</strong> TT5001 sensing cablemechanically strong and chemically resistant.The core of the cable is constructed oftwo sensing wires, an alarm signal wire, anda continuity wire. The core is encased in aconductive-polymer jacket and surroundedwith a fluoropolymer braid.
