RTTCTraceTek Sensing Module with Relay ContactsThe TraceTek TTC module offers a lowcost option for liquid leak detection. It isdesigned for use with any TraceTek sensingcable, and can be integrated into avariety of monitoring systems. The TTCmodule includes three sets of relay contactswhich can be used for remoteannunciation and equipment control. Aremote annunciation device is available.Easy setupAll field wiring connections are easilymade to a terminal strip molded into thebase of the module. The module can beinstalled to reset automatically when thesensing cable dries following a leak, orto require a manual reset using the buttonprovided. The TTC module includesadjustments for sensitivity to leaks, andfor the time delay before the leak alarmrelay trips. These adjustments can bemade in the field.Versatile designThe TTC module provides separaterelays for leak alarms and troublealarms. The Leak relay has two sets ofcontacts so it can be used both toannunciate the alarm, and to providedirect control linkage to local devices.However, the system is not designed forconstant switching applications. TheCable Break alarm monitors the integrityof sensing cable and jumper cable, andwill trip if continuity is lost. This troublerelay is normally energized, so it will alsosignal if there is a loss of power.The TTC module may be installed innon-hazardous indoor locations. Its smallsize allows for mounting in or on walls,or on DIN 1 rail systems.ApplicationsThe TTC is ideally suited to be simplyintegrated into centralized monitoringsystems for large facilities.
