Its tutors and former studentshave a strong record <strong>of</strong> research and publication in a wide range<strong>of</strong> aspects <strong>of</strong> Theology. Many <strong>of</strong> Wycliffe’s students are trainingfor Christian ministry (especially within the Anglican Church),normally involving the study <strong>of</strong> first degrees or diplomas intheology. However, for those who already have degrees intheology, it is possible to combine training for Christian ministrywith graduate study. Others come to Wycliffe purely to worktowards postgraduate research degrees. Wycliffe Hall places astrong emphasis on Christian community and commitment, andgraduate students are expected to play an active part in thatcommunity, as far as the nature <strong>of</strong> their course allows.Applicants who are considering Wycliffe as their college choiceare strongly advised to contact the Hall directly, and should doso in any case for the Hall’s own application form which must beRob Judgescompleted in addition to the <strong>University</strong> <strong>Graduate</strong> admission form.Applicants are interviewed at some point after a <strong>University</strong> placehas been <strong>of</strong>fered. Please contact the Hall for further details andlikely dates.ϐϐFacilitiesFacilities for Disabled Students|| Wycliffe Hall welcomes applications from disabled studentsand makes reasonable adjustments to facilitate their access toits courses.|| Main buildings are wheelchair accessible.|| We are working to make the library and dining hall moreaccessible for those with disabilities.Library Resources|| Excellent theological library.|| New <strong>Graduate</strong> Study Room with facilities for private study.Computing Resources|| Wireless internet access throughout all main buildings.|| Ethernet connections are in all study areas and studentbedrooms.Art, Music, Drama and Sport|| Students take part in leading music for daily chapel services.|| Some students are members <strong>of</strong> Queen’s College Chapel choir.|| Wycliffe Hall runs a football team which plays in the <strong>University</strong>league and students form various other ad hoc sporting teams.|| Wycliffe Hall does not have its own sports grounds, but theHall is adjacent to the <strong>University</strong> Parks.ϐϐFunding and PrizesThe Hall does not <strong>of</strong>fer any individual scholarships or bursaries.Some limited hardship grants are available to students who facefinancial hardship after commencing their studies.Also see the <strong>Graduate</strong> Finance Guide.ϐϐMCR|| The Common Room Committee represent the student body tothe faculty, organise social events, and co-ordinate the running<strong>of</strong> the common room; a student-only space equipped with akitchen, television, newspapers and a pool table.|| Many Wycliffe students are married and have families. Spousesand children are welcome for meals in College and at events.ϐϐAccommodation and Meals|| The Hall has very limited accommodation and normallygraduate students will need to find their own housing.|| Single Church <strong>of</strong> England ministerial students taking apostgraduate course will be allocated either a term-time orall-year room.|| Church <strong>of</strong> England ministerial students with families will beallocated appropriate housing.|| For all other graduates, Wycliffe will seek to assist students infinding accommodation on the private market.|| The Wycliffe dining hall serves three meals a day during termtime.|| All students may purchase a full meals package (for those livingin college) or lunchtime-only package (for those living out <strong>of</strong>College).|| Lunchtime-only package allows ten meals per week sospouses can be included.
