PROCEDURES FOR LISTING STANDARD OPTIONSProcedures for listing as Published Options for 14 - 90 passenger school buses shall be asfollows:Submit a request to the <strong>Department</strong> that an option be considered for the Published Option List.Manufacturer’s literature and specifications for the option shall be sent with the request.Vendor/manufacturer shall include certification that the option will in no way effect the safetyand integrity <strong>of</strong> any equipment on or operation <strong>of</strong> the school bus.The <strong>Department</strong> will review the request and information.Should a demonstration be necessary or sample required for testing, the vendor will becontacted. Information regarding the demonstration or testing will be provided at that time.If approved, a detailed description <strong>of</strong> the option will be added to the next <strong>Texas</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>Bus</strong><strong>Specifications</strong> listing.Section F-15
