____<strong>School</strong> bus lettering1. “<strong>School</strong> <strong>Bus</strong>” on both sides, front and rear ro<strong>of</strong> caps2. Eight (8) inch high, six (6) inch on Type A buses, one (1) inch widestroke, black block letters.3. “<strong>School</strong> <strong>Bus</strong>” front & rear in black lettering with yellow reflectivebackground if not lighted design4. “<strong>School</strong> <strong>Bus</strong>” on both sides located between bottom two (2) rub rails, thesame height and near the center <strong>of</strong> the school bus.5. “<strong>School</strong> <strong>Bus</strong>” both sides in black with reflective background or reflectivelettering.____<strong>School</strong> name lettering1. <strong>School</strong> name lettering on both sides2. Lettering shall be between the upper two (2) rub rails near the belt line3. Five (5) or six (6) inch lettering five eighths (5/8) inch block strokelettering4. Paint or decals (black in color)*<strong>School</strong> district or contractor logo may also be added as near to the front<strong>of</strong> both sides <strong>of</strong> the bus as possible. The logo may not be larger than500 square inches.____Rub rails, blackFour (4) required: one (1) at window level, one (1) at seat level, one (1) atfloor level and one at skirt level. The rails shall be one-piece continuousconstruction, four (4) inch or more in width, made <strong>of</strong> sixteen (16) gaugesteel and constructed in corrugated or ribbed fashion.1.
