ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONAIR BRAKESNote: For Type C & D (59 - 90 passengers) buses, air brakes are standard thepurchaser may wish to investigate the use <strong>of</strong> air brakes before changing to conventionalbrakes.COMMUNICATION DEVICENote: For all buses, the purchaser may wish to investigate the possible safety andcommunication merits <strong>of</strong> the bus driver having the capability to communicate with thedistrict’s management through two-way radio, portable telephone, etc.DIESEL ENGINESNote: Diesel engines are standard for Type A, C, and certain D (15 - 90 passengers)buses. Visibility is enhanced through the use <strong>of</strong> light gray, blue, andgreen. These colors may be obtained at little or no additional cost.FLOOR MOUNTED ACCELERATOR AND/OR BRAKE PEDALNote: If the intended purchase <strong>of</strong> a larger bus is for extended drive times (route oractivity), the purchaser may wish to investigate floor mounted accelerator and/or brakepedals.
