Improving Promotion and Advocacy, somerecommended <strong>actions</strong> for government andlocal authorities are:– Raise awareness, disseminate informationand spread best practices among SMEs <strong>to</strong>indirectly <strong>foster</strong> CSR.– Facilitate stakeholder engagement as well astraining programs.– Enhance <strong>the</strong> application <strong>of</strong> best availabletechnologies, and praise environmentallyfriendly technologies through anEnvironmental Technology Expo.– Take a leading role in <strong>the</strong> launch <strong>of</strong> a CivilSociety Forum, which could be a multistakeholderinitiative for <strong>the</strong> promotion <strong>of</strong>CSR awareness and <strong>actions</strong> in civil society.d.
