Formatted Write to the Screen (WFMCRT)Source: WFMCRT (BRa, [fmt] [,BRb] , [!oo])~ ~f~Object:I I I3E @I I0 8 23 31I lD fJ II IIID Screen address: The address of the binary register that contains the rownumber to begin the write.fJ Bit 15:0= Data between fields is blanked; B is specified.1 = Data between fields remains on the screen; ADD is specified.II Format number: The number (hex 01-FE) of the format to use.II The address of the binary register that contains the number of bytes to blankor add in the screen buffer before formatting begins.Data is moved to the screen, beginning at column 1 of the row specified by the loworderbyte of the screen address register. Data is moved from the locations specifiedby the labeled edit format, for the number of bytes specified by the format. The format also specifies any punctuation that should appear on the screen, such asa dollar sign, decimal point, or minus sign. The format must not use more than 200screen positions. If row 0 is specified, data is moved to the status line; if row 1 isspecified, data is moved to the extra line.If the binary register II is included, the contents of this register are taken as thenumber (1-200) of screen positions to alter before the formatted data is moved tothe screen. If B is coded in the source instruction, all characters on the screenbetween the data fields that are defined' in the edit format are blanked for thenumber of bytes specified in the binary register. If ADD is coded in the sourceinstruction, only the fields that are defined in the edit format are changed on thescreen; the characters between the edit format fields remain on the screen for thenumber of bytes specified by the binary register. If the binary register and B/ADDare omitted, and if the edit format does not account for all of the positions on thescreen within the edit format, the results are unpredictable. The fields of the format must be in the order of their appearance on the screen.198
