<strong>SRK</strong> <strong>Consulting</strong>: 430521 Comment and Response Report Page 63.2.5 Authorities MeetingThe authority meeting was held with <strong>the</strong> Department of Minerals and Resources (DMR) on <strong>the</strong> 22 ndAugust 2012 at <strong>the</strong> AP & RPM (<strong>Union</strong> <strong>Section</strong> JV) offices.The aim of <strong>the</strong> meeting was <strong>to</strong> inform <strong>the</strong> DMR of <strong>the</strong> proposed project, giving <strong>the</strong>m technicalbackground on <strong>the</strong> activities proposed <strong>to</strong> take place and <strong>the</strong> environmental process that will befollowed. Meeting minutes are attached in Appendix C 5.4 Issues raised by I&APsTable 4 1 summarises prominent issues, brought <strong>to</strong> light by I&APs during <strong>the</strong> commenting periodand also project team’s response <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>se matters.
