Shareholders’ access to information and websiteWith the aim of facilitating shareholders’ access to information,GBL has set up a website (http://www.gbl.be).This site, which is updated regularly, contains the informationrequired under the Royal Decree of 14 November 2007concerning the obligations of issuers of financial instrumentsaccepted for trading on a regulated market.It presents the GBL accounts, annual reports and all pressreleases put out by the Company, as well as all usefuland necessary information on General Meetings and onshareholders’ participation in such meetings, in particularthe conditions laid down by the Articles of Associationconcerning the convening of General Meetings (Ordinary andExtraordinary) of shareholders.The results of votes as well as the minutes of General Meetingsare also published on the site.11.11.2. Availability of company documents for public consultationThe Company’s Articles of Association may be consultedat the Registry of the Brussels Commercial Court,at the Company’s registered office and on its website(http://www.gbl.be).The annual accounts are deposited with the National Bank ofBelgium and may be consulted on the website. Resolutionsrelating to the appointment and removal of members of theCompany’s executive bodies are published in the Appendicesto the Moniteur Belge.Financial announcements relating to the Company arepublished in the financial press and daily newspapers. Otherdocuments available for public inspection may be consulted atthe Company’s registered office.The Company’s annual report is sent each year to registeredshareholders and to any person requesting a copy; it isavailable free of charge at the registered office.The annual reports for the last three financial years and allthe documents referred to in this section may be consultedon the website.156 Annual Report 2011
