Examples of transientimpairments are:the after-effects of surgery, e.g. the time <strong>to</strong> recover from theanesthetic and the surgery itselffractures and casts, post-orthopedic surgeryconcussioneye surgery, e.g. cataract surgeryuse of orthopaedic braces (<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g neck), andcardiac <strong>in</strong>flammation and <strong>in</strong>fections.375
