Chapter TwoMr Chandy Paul (second from left) with members of the Office’s finance teamProfileChandy Paul,Chief Financial OfficerChandy Paul has been the Office’s ChiefFinancial Officer since September 2011.He and his team are committed todelivering a high standard of service as they meetwhole of government finance requirements.Chandy enjoys the challenges of being CFO in asmall agency. ‘We have a wide spectrum of activity’,he says.‘As an FMA agency, we are bound by the samerules and obligations as large agencies, frommonthly reporting to the Department of Financeand Deregulation to the stock taking of assetsand counting of petty cash’, says Chandy.Since joining the Office, Chandy has implementedseveral efficiency measures to automate andstreamline labour-intensive manual processes.Chandy says this has helped the team to be moreflexible and responsive in achieving outcomesand meeting deadlines.
