Bir fincan kahvenin 40 yıl hatırı vardır,peki ya bir padişahın sarayında, birbirindenzarif mangallarda, el işçiliği cezvelerlepişirilen, her biri birer sanat eseri olan fincanlarlasunulan kahvenin hatırı ne kadarsürer? Osmanlı Sarayı’nda kahve kültürüve sunumuna dair çarpıcı detayların biraraya geldiği ‘Tüm Zamanların HatırınaSarayda Bir Fincan Kahve’ sergisi, SarayKoleksiyonları Müzesi Sanat Galerisi’ndeaçıldı. Küçük bir çekirdekten masalsı biryolculuğa çıkan, kalbin ve zihnin uyarıcısıkahve, insanları bir araya getirip dostluklarıpekiştiren sohbetlerin bahanesi olmuştur.Yorgunluğu alan, keyif ve mutlulukveren bu güzel kokulu siyah incinin keşfi,birçok efsaneye konu olmuş, kokusu, tadıve insana verdiği canlılık ile ‘mürde cismecan katan’ olarak kabul görmüştür.Osmanlı’nın gündelik yaşamında içtiğikahve, özel günlerde de seremoni eşliğindemisafirlere sunduğu en önemliikramlardan biri olmuştur. Kahveninsunumunu bir seremoniye çeviren öğelerdenbiri de kullanılan nesnelerdir. OsmanlıTümZamanlarınHatırınaSaraydaBirFincanKahveSarayı’nda, kahve sunumuna büyük önemverilmiştir. Kahve sunumu sırasında, fincan,zarf ve puşidelerin en ihtişamlı olanlarıkullanılmıştır. Kahve ikram töreni,zarif kupa ve gülabdanlarla yapılan gülsuyuve şerbet ikramı ile daha da zenginleştirilmiştir.‘Tüm Zamanların Hatırına Saray’da BirFincan Kahve’ sergisi, izleyicilerine OsmanlıSarayları’ndaki dinlence anlarındayaşanan zarif huzuru bir nebze olsun yaşatmayıhedefliyor.14 Nisan’da TBMM Başkanı Mehmet AliŞahin’in de katıldığı bir törenle açılan sergi,iki ay boyunca ücretsiz olarak ziyaretedilebilecek.Cup ofcoffeeat theimperialpalace“To offer someone a cup of coffee is alabour of love kept in fond memory for40 years...” is an old Turkish saying emphasizingthe importance Turkish peopletraditionally attribute to coffee. The Art Gallery at the PalaceCollections Museum is currentlyhosting an exhibition on coffee culture inthe Ottoman Palace where stunning detailsare presented to the eye of the public.“A cup of coffee at the palace, a labourof love for all times” is the title ofthis exhibition on the little grain whichtravelled throughout ages like in a fairytale, to serve as a blessed opportunity tobring people together, to enliven theirconversation, to stimulate heart andmind, to foster friendships. Many a legendexists on the origin of this heavenlyscented black pearl remedying the wearinessof the day, bestowing well-being andhappiness. Due to its taste, its scent andthe spiritedness it inoculates to people,coffee is consideredas the magic potion“breathing life intothe body alive ordead!” The Ottomanspraised coffeenot only as adaily beverage,but as one ofmost importanttreats presentedto the guestswith a solemnceremonyonspecial daysand occasions.What turns thepresentation ofcoffee into a dignifiedceremony arethe precious utensilsused to prepare and offer coffee. The OttomanPalace attributed great importanceto using the appropriate style duringthe coffee presentation. The mostvaluable coffee cups, cup sleeves, tableclothsand napkins were being used forthe coffee ceremony which was furtherenriched by sprinkling rose water in precious“gülabdan” (rose water flask) andby offering sherbet (non-alcoholic drinksmade with sugar and spices or sugar andfruit juice) in elegant chalice. The exhibition’sgoal is to give its visitor a briefchance to experience the spirit of thegraceful moments of serenity enjoyedonce ago during times of leisure at OttomanPalaces.Uygulama kapsamında tur rehberinin sesini beraberindekilere bağırmadan, elektronikkulaklık yardımıyla ulaştıracağını belirten Usta, “Rehberler orta yaşın üzerindekikişilere seslerini duyurmakta zorlanıyor. Gruptakilerden bazıları kaybolabiliyor. Busistem bütün sorunları ortadan kaldıracak. Rehber konuşacak, gruptakiler kulaklıktanduyacak. Aynı zamanda cihazlarda bir yardım tuşu var, kulaklık sahibi bastığındarehber kişinin nerede olduğunu bulabilecek. Temel hedefimiz gürültü kirliliğiniengellemek. Ayasofya’da başlattığımız uygulamayı yaygınlaştırmak istiyoruz. Müzedebinlerce cihaz bulunduracağız. Seyahat acentelerinin kullandığı cihazlar, bizimcihazlarımızın frekans ayarı ile uyumlu ise sorun yok. Ancak uygun değilse bizdentemin edebilirler” dedi.Ayasofya’da gürültü kirliliğine geçit yokTürkiye’nin en çok ziyaret edilen müzelerinden Ayasofya’da gürültü kirliliğini önlemekamacıyla, Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı’nca 1 Mayıs’tan itibaren 16 kişiyi aşan gruplara,Headset-Seyyar Mikrofon ve Kulaklık Düzeneği kullanımı zorunlu hale getiriliyor.Uygulama kapsamında seyahat acenteleri ve belirtilen sayıyı aşan gruplar, sistemikendileri temin edebilecek ya da kişi başı 2.5 TL karşılığında kiralayabilecek.Döner Sermaye İşletmesi Merkez Müdürlüğü (DÖSİMM) Müdürü Murat Usta,Ayasofya’da ses ve konuşmanın birbirine karıştığı dönemin sona ereceğini söyledi.No more noise pollution at the Hagia SophiaStarting from 1st of May this year, the use of headset equipment was made mandatoryby the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for groups over 16 persons visiting the HagiaSophia Museum, with a view to avoiding noise nuisance. Travel agencies or groups oftourists over the afore-mentioned number will have to either procure the equipmentthemselves or to rent it from the Museum for 2,5 Turkish Liras per person. The Directorof the Revolving Funds Central Administration (DÖSİMM) Murat Usta, declared thatthe times where speech voice and conversations were interfering into each other are athing of the past. “The tour guides will be able to reach the ears of their guests withouthaving to shout thanks to the headset equipment”, said Mr. Usta, “tour guides experienceoften difficulty to be understood by elderly tourists who might not fully hear them,some group members can even get lost; this system will eliminate all these problems”, headded. The headsets are also equipped with a special feature, a help button which allowsto locate persons who became lost. The director continued,”our main goal is toprevent noise pollution; we contemplate to extend this practice to other museums aswell in the future. We will make available at all times a sufficient number of headsetsat the museum. On the other hand, it is clear that the headsets provided by travel agencieswill have to be technically compatible with our system. When not, they alwayshave the possibility to rent from us.”73
