<strong>2010</strong> RULES & REGULATIONS9ARTICLE B-XV AMENDMENTS(now in the OLA Bylaws as of 2005)ARTICLE C-I AFFILIATIONSC1.01The Corporation may be a member of the Canadian <strong>Lacrosse</strong> <strong>Association</strong>, the governing body oflacrosse in Canada, or any successor or similar governing body.C1.02The Board of Directors shall have the authority to seek entry into or affiliate this Corporation withany other sports organization.ARTICLE C-II PURPOSES AND OBJECTSC2.02To arrange and supervise competitions for the Corporation championships.C2.03To determine by such elimination competition as its’ Board of Directors may decide, teams forentry into inter-provincial or international competitions that may be provided by the Canadian<strong>Lacrosse</strong> <strong>Association</strong>.C2.04To provide for the affiliation of other lacrosse organizations within its territory.C2.05To make grants out of the funds of the Corporation for patriotic, educational and charitablepurposes.C2.06To carry on the business of the Corporation without the purpose of gain for its members and touse any profits or other acquisitions to the Corporation for the purpose of promoting its objects.C2.08(a)The <strong>Ontario</strong> <strong>Lacrosse</strong> <strong>Association</strong> condemns and refuses to ignore or tolerate any expression ofracial, cultural or religious bias by all involved in the game of lacrosse, and furthermore willdiscipline any league, zone, association, team coach, player or referee found to be involved in anincident of a racial, cultural or religious nature. The severity of the incident is to determine thelevel of disciplinary action taken. This may include suspensions, fines and/or removal ofassociation membership effectively banning those responsible from league play for a determinedperiod of time.
