<strong>2010</strong> RULES & REGULATIONS10ARTICLE C-III COMPOSITIONC3.01The Corporation shall be composed of Club, Minor <strong>Association</strong>s, and individuals who have beenaccepted as members and who agree to abide by and comply with the Corporation.ARTICLE C-IVC4.00The Corporation composed of all clubs and minor associations shall foster and promote the gameof lacrosse by officially recognizing <strong>Lacrosse</strong> Week across the Province of <strong>Ontario</strong>. <strong>Lacrosse</strong>Week shall commence the Friday prior to the long weekend in August and run for 10 full days,coinciding with the <strong>Ontario</strong> <strong>Lacrosse</strong> Festival.REGULATIONS(APPLICABLE ONLY TO: MAJOR, SENIOR, OR JUNIOR CLUBS)R1.01 to R25.05 inclusiveR1.01The championship of the Corporation shall consist of Major, Senior, Junior and Female lacrossein any classification and any other series deemed desirable by the Board of Directors.R1.02The winners of the play-offs shall be declared <strong>Ontario</strong> champions and may represent the O.L.A.in C.L.A. playoffs.R1.03At the schedule meeting the clubs may decide the number of teams to enter the playoffs, subjectto the approval of the Board of Directors. Playoffs shall be directly under the control of the Boardof Directors.R1.04All games following the completion of the regular league schedule shall be defined andinterpreted as playoffs.R1.05Team standings in schedules leagues or groups shall be determined as follows: a win shall countfor two points, and all draws or tie games one point to each team.R1.06In the event of a tie in points, the final standings shall be determined as follows:I. The team that won the greater number of points in games played, during the regularschedule, between the teams tied shall be declared the winner of the higher position.II.III.IV.If tie still exists, the Goal Average Formula will be used to break the tie. Only goalsscored in the games between the teams tied in points shall be used in the goal averagecomputation. (See Goal Average Formula below).If tie still exists the Goal Average Formula will be used to break the tie. All goals scoredin all games during entire schedule shall be used in the goal average computation. (SeeGoal Average Formula below).If tie still exists, the team with the greater number of assists on goals during entireschedule shall be declared the winner.
