<strong>2010</strong> RULES & REGULATIONS39MR1.10Organization Development clinics (i.e. volunteer recruitment, fundraising, organization structure,promotion) will be made available by the <strong>Ontario</strong> <strong>Lacrosse</strong> <strong>Association</strong>, at cost, to cluborganizations.MR1.11At each Annual General Meeting, a member may present a promotional project for approval ofthe membership. To be eligible for presentation to the membership, each promotional projectmust be presented in the prescribed form as designated by the Board of Governors.MR1.11(b)Each association shall be levied a per capita fee for approved promotional projects approvedannually, based upon their prior year’s rep team registration. (see R4.11)MR1.11(c)All members eligible for voting purposes at the Annual General Meeting be levied a $100.00 perone <strong>Association</strong>/Club fee. This money will go directly to the <strong>Ontario</strong> <strong>Lacrosse</strong> Hall of Fame andMuseum.REGULATION MR IIRegistrationsMR2.01No team may have more than twenty-five (25) players registered for competition.MR2.02All team entries must be registered and O.L.A. approve for the current season prior to anyparticipation. The final date for submitting team entries for approval is June 1 st . On June 2 nd theO.L.A. will distribute a complete listing of team entries for the current season to all associations(titled “Final Team Entries for Minor <strong>Lacrosse</strong>”). <strong>Association</strong>s will have four business days toamend their team entries for the current season. After which the “Final Team Entries for Minor<strong>Lacrosse</strong>” listing will be drawn up and will be the basis for eligibility to play exhibition and zonegames, and invitational and provincial tournaments. No other rep team entries will be acceptedbeyond this date.MR2.03To facilitate the checking and approval of playing certificates, each club is required to submit anofficial municipality boundary map, as approved by their Zone and the O.L.A. Board of Directors,to the Executive Director. Maps must be resubmitted when a change in municipal boundariesoccurs. Playing certificates will not be returned until this has been done.MR2.04Registration will be effected by the submission of duly completed playing certificates and/or othermaterial as required by the registration procedure presently in effect. Where a signature is notavailable by the player, and the player is under the age of 18, it is legally binding to have theparent sign the registration card on their child’s behalf.MR2.04(a)All personnel must be registered and OLA approved for the current season prior to anyparticipation. The final date for submitting completed membership certificates for all personnel forapproval is June 1st. Appeals of membership eligibility must be submitted by the Club President,in writing, within four business days of notification of ineligibility.NOTE: Completed membership certificates for coaches/trainers MUST include proofof NCCP/trainer certification. As per MR2.12(b)
