2010 RULES & REGULATIONS461 Game Release Unaffiliated TeamMR5.08A player who is signed member of an Midget or Intermediate team not affiliated with a club in ahigher category may play exhibition games prior to June 1 st , and not more than seven league (notplayoff) games for teams in higher categories providing he has the written permission from theauthorized officer of the team for which he has signed. (See Regulation R8.01(a).)MR 5.09A player signed with an unaffiliated team who does have the written permission of the team forwhich he has signed may play in as many higher categories as he wishes, but shall not play formore than one team in any one higher category, and shall not play more than a total of sevenleague games in the higher categories, nor shall he play in any playoff games for any other teamother than the one with which he is signed. (See Regulation R8.01(b).)MR5.10If an unaffiliated Midget or Intermediate team uses a player who has played more than seven (7)Junior games, any points won by that team will be forfeited and awarded to the opposition teamor teams. (See Regulation R8.02 and R8.04)1 Game Release FormMR5.11A Junior team desiring to use a player or players signed with a Midget or Intermediate team mustfirst obtain written permission from the authorized officer of the Midget or Intermediate team andmust attached two (2) copies of the “one game” release from to the referee’s report. (SeeRegulation R7.09)MR5.12No player may play for a Junior team on a one game release unless he is a registered member ofa Midget or Intermediate team entered in the OLA.REGULATION MR-VIExhibition GamesMR6.01Teams in the Corporation shall not be allowed to play matches with teams or players who havebeen suspended or expelled from the Corporation during the period of such suspension orexpulsion. Clubs so doing knowingly shall be suspended automatically, subject to ruling by theBoard of Directors.MR6.02All clubs or players intending to take part in non zone games must advise presidents of bothclubs, zone directors in corresponding zones of their intent to play such games. All players of thesaid clubs must be in good standing and game sheets for the games must be forwarded by thehome club to the Zone Director and Corporation within 48 hours.MR6.03A player shall not play in an exhibition game or tournament unless as a member of theassociation with which he/she is signed.
