<strong>2010</strong> RULES & REGULATIONS27R9.02Any lacrosse team judged to be tampering with a player of another club shall be fined a maximumof one thousand dollars ($1000.00)by the Corporation. The Corporation must be the final judgeof the above charge.A second offence during the same season shall result in a minimum suspension of one year forthe person(s) deemed responsible plus any additional fines.NOTE: Tampering shall be defined as contacting a player who “belongs” to another OLA Clubwithout first receiving permission from that team to which he already “belongs” by residence oraffiliation.REGULATION R-XGame <strong>Regulations</strong>R10.01It shall be the duty of each club Secretary as soon as possible after the Annual General Meetingto notify the Commissioner of the series as to the colours of its jerseys.R10.02In the case of two sets of jerseys being similar, the home team must change.R10.03Where two teams, using similar coloured jerseys, are ordered to meet at a neutral point, it shallbe the duty of the Commissioner of the series to order one of the said teams to wear differentcoloured jerseys for that game.R10.04All home clubs must supply the referees with extra approved balls for commencement of thegame and keep him supplied with approved balls. (See Regulation MR8.10)R10.05No player shall take part in any Corporation game unless his name is included in a complete listof players which shall be given to the referees, signed by an official of the club.R10.06(a)The Official Scorer shall submit the line-up of the competing teams to the referee prior to the startof the game and shall draw to their attention any case he feels does not comply with rules. Onlythe name of players present and ready to play shall be included in the list.R10.06(b)Any player may enter the game at any time provided he is properly registered to that team andhis name entered on the score sheet prior to his entry into the game and the game officials andopposition are notified of his entry prior to his participation.R10.06(c)If a player is to be credited with a goal or an assist and is not on the game sheet, the goal isallowed and the team is assessed a two minute penalty. If a player receives a penalty and is noton the game sheet the team shall receive an additional two minute minor penalty.R10.07The referee shall proceed to the centre of the arena precisely at the time at which the match isadvertised to commence, and he shall immediately commence play by facing off the ball.
