<strong>2010</strong> RULES & REGULATIONS35R18.07The referee assignor shall appoint two referees for all games in the Major, Senior and Juniorgames.R18.08The first named of the two referees shall be the senior referee and in case of dispute ordisagreement, his decision shall be final.R18.09The senior official shall make the original opening face-off.R18.10In the event that a referee does not appear in time to officiate at a game, the home club shallimmediately notify one of the following: The referee assignor, the series Commissioner or theO.L.A. President.R18.11If a referee is late, he shall be fined one dollar per minute to a maximum of thirty dollars.The fine shall commence fifteen minutes before the scheduled starting time of the game. Thefine may be waived due to extenuating circumstances.R18.12Traveling expenses allowed in addition to the referee’s fee shall be as set by the Board ofDirectors. Referees shall travel together when from the same vicinity.R18.13The competing clubs shall each pay half the total fees and mileage of the officials before thegame commences. The referees are responsible for the enforcement of this ruling.R18.14Referees will be paid travelling expenses in the form of a mileage fee which is to be calculated asthe shortest distance on all weather roads between the referee’s home and the game site.Referees shall travel together when from the same vicinity. Conflicts between teams andreferees in regard to mileage charges shall be settled by the Technical Director of the O.L.A.REGULATION R-XIXPlayoff Revenue and ExpensesR19.01The Corporation shall receive 15% of the gross gate receipts after referees have been paid, fromall group playoff games, replays of protested playoff games, sudden victory games to decide finalleague standings, all league playoff games, all round robin and all playoffs, quarter final, semifinaland final rounds in all series.R19.02In case of finals being played as a single game, the Corporation shall receive twenty-five percentof the gross gate receipts and the remaining 75% after expenses have been paid shall be dividedequally between the participating clubs.R19.03Returns shall be forwarded to the Corporation office by the home club Treasurer or arenacommission within seven days and shall be accompanied by the playoff revenue report form anda completed official box office statement certified and signed by the arena manager.
