<strong>2010</strong> RULES & REGULATIONS29REGULATION R-XIIExhibition GamesR12.01All team or players intending to take part in exhibition games must secure permission of theCorporation through the Executive Director before playing such games, otherwise they shall besubject to a penalty deemed suitable by the Board of Directors.R12.02Names of officials appointed to handle exhibition games must be submitted to the ExecutiveDirector of the Corporation and must be approved.R12.03No player may participate in any exhibition game unless he is eligible for that team except that:(a) he has permission from the O.L.A., (b) if he is a member of another team, or has obligations(by agreement or regulation) to the team for which he was last signed he has written permissionfrom that team.REGULATION R-XIIIPostponementsR13.01No game may be postponed without the approval of the Commissioner, otherwise such gameswill be considered defaults.R13.02Except where emergencies make it possible, all postponed league games must be rescheduledwithin five days by the clubs involved and must be replayed within 14 days. Failing this, theO.L.A. Commissioner shall be empowered to reschedule the game and notify the clubs.R13.03Games scheduled to take place on an outdoor playing area may be postponed only with thepermission of the Commissioner.R13.04In the event of rain, or if the playing area is unplayable and cannot be repaired by game time, thehome club shall immediately call the Commissioner to report condition and requestpostponement. If the request is granted, the home club must immediately contact the visitingclub. If the visiting club is contacted before departure no expenses will be involved.R13.05If, however, the visiting club has left for the game, if conditions make the playing area unplayableafter the visiting club has started enroute, the game may be postponed by the home clubproviding they first pay the visiting club and officials travelling expenses or reach mutualagreement and advise the Executive Director in writing. The Commissioner must be notifiedimmediately and has authority to reschedule the game. Legitimate travelling expenses to thevisiting club must be paid prior to the rescheduled game or within 15 days whichever comes first.Failure to remit the expenses within the allotted time will result in the money being taken from thehome team’s bond.R13.06In the event that rain or some other condition makes the playing area unfit after the game hasstarted, the referee shall have the opportunity to stop the game and if forty minutes have beenplayed it will constitute a regulation game, if forty minutes have not been played then the gamewould be played at a later date starting with the score and time being the same.
