Method 1618 is used with wide bore GC columns to analyze for organohalideand organo-phosphorus pesticides, phenoxy-acid herbicides and herbicide esters, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and other compoundsamenable to extraction and analysis by wide bore capillary column gas chromatography with halogen-specific and organo-phosphorus detectors.The chemical compounds in the AccuStandard mixtures that follow may be determined in waters, soils, sediments and sludges by this method.
