SIP Project Management Opens New Headquarters
in Shanghai
SIP Project Management officially announced the opening of its
new Shanghai headquarters. Around 100 guests, including clients
and business partners, witnessed the official opening of the new
office in Caohejing Hi-Tech Park and attended the following cocktail
party with SIP senior executives. "We’ve been incredibly fortunate
and – owing to the unparalleled professionalism, commitment and
enthusiasm of our team – have gone from strength to strength over
the past years. Yet, as our business and service offering has grown, it
became increasingly clear that we needed not just more space, but a
new environment – one that reflected and supported the high quality
of services that we deliver to our clients,’’ explained Mr. Geoffrey
Mills, Supervisory Board Director, SIP Group. SIP's new headquarters
reside across two floors of the EVOC building and are designed to
foster and enhance open communication, collaboration and multifunctionality.

New Partner at Plumbohm Corporate Finance
Consulting
Plumbohm Corporate Finance Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. is
pleased to announce that Ms. Yimin Foo joined as a Partner in its
Shanghai office during the second half of 2011. Ms. Foo will head
up the M&A practice and lead project teams to execute all Chinarelated
M&A transactions from the Shanghai office. Ms. Foo has more
than 15 years of experience working as senior finance executive for
multinational corporations including eBay China and TCL Group. Ms.
Foo also provided corporate finance advisory services to international
clients while working at KPMG in New York. Plumbohm & Co. is a
leading corporate finance advisor based in Munich and Shanghai,
with a focus on inbound and outbound M&A transactions, mainly
involving large and medium-sized companies. The firm also assists
Chinese companies on IPOs in Germany as a financial advisor.
Plant Manager of Changshu Continental Plant Gets
Awards
Mr. Lutz Marczinski, plant manager of the Changshu Continental
plant, recently received several awards from the local communities in
Jiangsu province. On 13 th January 2012, Mr. Marczinski received an
award from the Suzhou City Municipal Office as an excellent foreign
expert in “appreciation of his enthusiastic support for Suzhou’s
construction and his friendly cooperation.” The Mayor of Suzhou,
Mr. Yan, as well as the Party Secretary were present during the
event. On 8 th December 2011, Mr. Marczinski was appointed as one
of the Directors of the Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises
in Jiangsu. The award ceremony took place in Nanjing and included
representatives from 14 different countries and various companies.
During the three-year term, Mr. Marczinski will have the chance
for regular exchange with government representatives and business
partners with the aim to further improve business operations in an
assortment of business areas.
