Formel D at 2012 Beijing Auto<br />

After its presence at the 2011 Shanghai Auto<br />
exhibition, the Formel D Group will again<br />
emphasize its increased focus on the Asian<br />
market as an expanding international service<br />
provider in the automobile industry from 23 rd<br />
April to 2 nd May 2012 in Beijing. Participating<br />
in arguably the continent’s largest and most<br />
important trade fair allows the Group to<br />
demonstrate its potential for sustainable<br />
growth as well as the importance of its site in<br />
China. At the fair, Formel D Group will present<br />
its current product portfolio and innovations<br />
for the Chinese market. As a growing service,<br />
Formel D’s Quality Confirmation Center<br />
(QCC) is being used more and more in Asia.<br />
By providing monitoring, follow-up, and<br />
logistical services, this innovative Formel D<br />

Carl Benz Academy Launch<br />
On 14 th November 2011, the Carl Benz<br />
Academy was launched at a spectacular<br />
opening ceremony in the presence of Ms.<br />
Jutta Benz – the great granddaughter of the<br />

As a responsible business in the community,<br />
Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace has<br />
embarked on a project to bring in a large<br />
batch of university undergraduates from<br />
other provinces to give them exposure to<br />
working life, experience with living away<br />
from home and in a major city and to learn<br />
a particular skill-set in hotel management.<br />
Recently the hotel brought in 120 students<br />
who will stay for three to six months gaining<br />
such life-experience that will help them find<br />
a job more easily after graduation. On a more<br />
international level, the hotel also allows for<br />
internships with management training and<br />
one such candidate, Maartjie Sodenkamp<br />
from Holland, speaks five languages (Dutch,<br />
English, German, French and Spanish) and<br />
is eager to be able to help foreign guests<br />

students are provided with accommodation,<br />
