REGIONAL NEWS | Shanghai | Member Affairs Opening Ceremony of TIGER Drylac Chengdu Branch On 19 th November 2011, the opening ceremony of TIGER Drylac (Taicang) Co. Ltd. Chengdu branch was held in Fang Chen technology park, Xinjin county, Chengdu City. Xinjin county’s local government leadership, TIGER China senior leadership as well as customer representatives attended the ceremony. TIGER China CEO Mr. Luo Biao and Xinjin county technology park Director Mr. Cheng Tailiang separately gave speeches and cut the ribbon with other guests. 64 April - May 2012 UniCredit Opens New Branch in Guangzhou UniCredit has received authorisation from the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) to transform its representative office in Guangzhou into a bank branch, thus joining the Shanghai branch and the representative office in Beijing. The new Guangzhou branch, in line with local regulations, will initially offer services in foreign currency including deposits, short, medium and long-term loans, factoring and discounting, trading of government bonds, bonds and financial securities other than shares priced in foreign currency, letters of credit and guarantees, domestic and international settlements, trading in foreign currency for itself and third parties, inter-banking loans, credit checks and consultation services. The new branch will be managed by Mr. Jonathan Lin, a Manager with lengthy experience in the financial sector in international companies and institutions, who has worked at UniCredit’s Shanghai branch for the past two years. New Relationship Manager for German Corporations at Commerzbank Mr. Ulrich Link has recently joined Commerzbank as the Senior Relationship Manager at the German Desk in Shanghai Branch. This is intended to enhance the team's expertise regarding German corporate clients in China. Mr. Link has extensive experience in international business. The 41-year-old German has been in charge of the Asian International Desk in the Head Office of Commerzbank since January 2008. Over the years, he has held numerous positions in corporate business. He started his career as a Corporate Client Advisor and gained international experience as a Relationship Manager for German customers in South Korea and Singapore. He has been with Commerzbank for over 20 years now. Commerzbank China focuses on cross-border business. This includes providing support for the foreign subsidiaries and export businesses of German corporate clients as well as serving the needs of Chinese companies with long-standing German business relationships and providing them with a gateway to Europe.

Meanwhile the workshop, formerly known as Morgan Rolling Mill (Shanghai), was renamed to Siemens VAI Metals Technologies Co. Ltd.
