Ključne reči: Elektrodistributivne mreže, prognoza razvoja vršne snage, Džulovi gubici, kvalitet napona,Three Different Long Term Solutions in the Consumer Sector of «Elektrodistribucije Beograd» Applied in the Construction of the Power Distribution Network in Settlements With Over20,000. InhabitantsThis paper deals with the basic characteristics of the past and future power supply to three settlements with over 20,000inhabitants in the suburban area of the consumer sector of «Elektrodistribucija Beograd» (hereinafter EDB) where threecompletely different solutions in power distribution network were applied in the 90’s of the past century; namely, in the situationwhere there were “suffi cient“ funds for network construction, the EDB Expert Council adopted three different solutionsfor construction of networks in the settlements of Borča, Kaludjerica and Sremčica and proceeded with the constructionof the following standard conventional substations: 35/10 kV/kV (2x 12,5 MVA) in Borča, 110/10 kV/kV (2x 31,5 MVA)in Kaluđerica, and a tertiary voltage 110/35/10 kV/kV/kV (2x 31,5/21/21 MVA) substation in Sremčica.Already in the 1990/91 winter term all three facilities were put into operation and have been in operation ever since andwhatsoever, an additional 35/10 kV/kV (2x8 MVA) substation was constructed in the Borča settlement after 2005 – fi rst ofall due to a rapid growth of population, as a consequence of the war that took place on the Yugoslav territory as well asdue to the unplanned construction of a large number of refugee dwellings. In the present situation all three above facilities, which mutually differ in terms of the fi nancial aspect, are expected tooperate in the long-term period, and this paper will therefore present all the fundamental characteristics of the past powersupply to the settlements of Borča, Kaludjerica and Sremčica in the EDB consumer sector. This paper also gives an insightinto the prospects of long-term power supply of the settlements of Krnjača, Obrenovac, Železnik, Batajnica, Surčin andMladenovac, which also have a population of over 20,000 inhabitants, for which reason the future construction of newpower distribution networks in these settlements is one of the currently discussed major issues among the experts of EDB.Key words : Power distribution networks, forecast of peak load development, Joule losses, voltage quality.[018]
