Green Art - Recycled Art -NEW!!
Be a green artist! You can become an artist
utilizing recycled stuff like Picasso, Calder
and others and create a 3D piece of original
art! In this extremely fun course, let your
creativity flow using paper towel tubes,
cardboard, wood, wire, styrofoam,
cans...just about anything you choose or
bring, and create a dimensional piece of
art. Design, construction, dimension, color
and paint will be covered. No drawing or
artistic ability required - come prepared for
fun and creativity! Materials will be provided.
Participants are encouraged to collect
and bring recycled materials they find
interesting. NOTE: Please bring sack
lunch.

How to teach art to your child...to develop
creative thinking skills. For parents, grandparents
and teachers...learn the importance
of teaching and providing art to children.
How and why Art is so important in child
development. Learn why it is necessary for
children to express their thoughts and ideas
thru art; what their art should look like and
how to interpret it; why art is usually NOT
taught correctly and how it actually HIN-
DERS child development. Go away
refreshed with knowledge and the ability to
inspire and teach art to help develop creativity
and creative thinking skills in children.
How a child is taught affects his inner
image of himself, which influences what
he will dare to try to learn. Participants will
work on 2 art projects during this class.

worked with children for over 6 years and
continually researches children's art with
the goal of inspiring children to develop
self-expression, self-confidence, and creative
