Green Art - Recycled Art -NEW!!<br />

Be a green artist! You can become an artist<br />

utilizing recycled stuff like Picasso, Calder<br />

and others and create a 3D piece of original<br />

art! In this extremely fun course, let your<br />

creativity flow using paper towel tubes,<br />

cardboard, wood, wire, styrofoam,<br />

cans...just about anything you choose or<br />

bring, and create a dimensional piece of<br />

art. Design, construction, dimension, color<br />

and paint will be covered. No drawing or<br />

artistic ability required - come prepared for<br />

fun and creativity! Materials will be provided.<br />

Participants are encouraged to collect<br />

and bring recycled materials they find<br />

interesting. NOTE: Please bring sack<br />

lunch.<br />

How to teach art to your child...to develop<br />

creative thinking skills. For parents, grandparents<br />

and teachers...learn the importance<br />

of teaching and providing art to children.<br />

How and why Art is so important in child<br />

development. Learn why it is necessary for<br />

children to express their thoughts and ideas<br />

thru art; what their art should look like and<br />

how to interpret it; why art is usually NOT<br />

taught correctly and how it actually HIN-<br />

DERS child development. Go away<br />

refreshed with knowledge and the ability to<br />

inspire and teach art to help develop creativity<br />

and creative thinking skills in children.<br />

How a child is taught affects his inner<br />

image of himself, which influences what<br />

he will dare to try to learn. Participants will<br />
