Constitution which says, “Every citizen
shall have the right to keep and bear arms
in lawful defense of himself or the State;
but the Legislature shall have power, by
law, to regulate the wearing of arms, with
a view to prevent crime.” You can download
an instruction sheet and directions
from or one will be mailed to you. Class is
limited to the first 12 students. NOTE:
The class fee does NOT cover the cost of
the license. This is NOT the class needed
to renew a license.

Texas Concealed Handgun Course -
Boerne
If you are interested in being licensed to
carry a Concealed Handgun or renew a
current license, under Texas Law you will
need to attend this training course then
apply to the Texas Department of Public
Safety for a Concealed Handgun License.
Upon successful completion of this class
and submission of the application, DPS
will issue your license assuming you have
no legal disqualification. This 10-hour,
course will be taught by a full time law
enforcement professional with an emphasis
on firearms safety and legal issues.
Saturday classroom times are 9am-6pm;
renewals 9-1. Sunday range time from 9-
10am however range times can vary. Also,
if you want to just renew your license, call
Club Ed (830) 257-2218. Renewal
Saturday classroom times will be from
9am-1pm with Sunday range time from 9-
10am; cost will be $75. NOTE: STU-
DENTS WILL NEED TO BRING TO
CLASS: A VALID TEXAS DRIVERS
LICENSE OR ID CARD, TWO (2)
COLOR PASSPORT PHOTO'S (AVAIL-
ABLE AT WAL-MART OR WAL-
GREEN'S), SEMI AUTO OR
REVOLVER HANDGUN IN GOOD
WORKING CONDITION (RENTALS
AVAILABLE), FIFTY (50) ROUNDS OF
FACTORY AMMUNITION (NO
RELOADS).
Range location will be at the Bandera Gun
Club, Bandera, Texas - map will be supplied
during classroom.
Instructor: Constable Don White - Is currently
a Law Enforcement Firearms/
Classroom Instructor and has trained
nearly 3000 students in the CHL course
during the past 12 years.
