4.11.2 Criteria <strong>for</strong> Evaluation of this impact category<br />

Next to the general criteria described in Chapter 2, the main criteria ‗Environmental<br />

relevance‘ <strong>and</strong> ‗Scientific robustness‘ have been specified by the following sub-criteria:<br />

Biotic resources (such as wood, fish stock, meat stock or l<strong>and</strong> use)<br />

Solar, wind <strong>and</strong> water energy<br />

Water<br />

Size of stock/reserves<br />

Regeneration <strong>and</strong>/or recovery<br />

Technology<br />

In addition to the criteria, it is important to mention that the recommended method should<br />

be applied to the irreversibly dissipated fraction of the material produced from the inventoried<br />
