and investor, Franz Jurkowitsch <strong>is</strong> responsible<br />

based in Vienna. Franz Jurkowitsch has over 20 years experience in<br />
<strong>the</strong> real est<strong>at</strong>e industry, with twenty of <strong>the</strong>se in development. Franz<br />
Jurkowitsch was also <strong>the</strong> Co-founder of Vienna Intern<strong>at</strong>ional Hotels &<br />
Resorts Vienna based hotel management company. He was mainly<br />
engaged in <strong>the</strong> development of <strong>the</strong> company’s presence throughout<br />
Central-Europe. Franz earned h<strong>is</strong> Master degree in Business-<br />
Admin<strong>is</strong>tr<strong>at</strong>ion from Wirtschaftsuniversität, Vienna, where he obtained<br />
also h<strong>is</strong> Doctor degree.<br />

Norbert Kandziora <strong>is</strong>t seit 2006 als Vice President von GE<br />

Head of Sales/Development den Vertrieb für GE.<br />

Dr. Tobias Just <strong>is</strong> Senior Econom<strong>is</strong>t <strong>at</strong> Deutsche Bank<br />
Research. In 1997 he gradu<strong>at</strong>ed and started working on h<strong>is</strong><br />
PhD, which was awarded <strong>the</strong> university science prize in 2001.<br />
Since 2001 he has been working for Deutsche Bank, focussing<br />
on real est<strong>at</strong>e and regional economics. He has been playing an<br />
active role in <strong>the</strong> working group of <strong>the</strong> Finance Initi<strong>at</strong>ive<br />
Germany dealing with <strong>the</strong> introduction of G-REITs. Tobias now<br />
regularly lectures on real est<strong>at</strong>e <strong>is</strong>sues <strong>at</strong> various German<br />
universities.<br />

Mr. Niclas Karoff heads <strong>the</strong> transaction adv<strong>is</strong>ory team of HSH<br />
<strong>Real</strong> Est<strong>at</strong>e AG. Based in Hamburg, Mr. Karoff <strong>is</strong> responsible<br />
for adv<strong>is</strong>ing str<strong>at</strong>egic and financial investors as well as public<br />
institutions on real est<strong>at</strong>e portfolio transactions. Prior to<br />
joining HSH in 2003, Mr. Karoff was in charge for <strong>the</strong> German<br />
M&A div<strong>is</strong>ion of <strong>the</strong> accounting group BDO Intern<strong>at</strong>ional. The<br />
transactions involved covered a variety of real est<strong>at</strong>e types,<br />
including residential, office, retail and special properties. .<br />

Chr<strong>is</strong>toph Kettel h<strong>at</strong> nach seinem Studium des<br />
Vermessungswesens an der TU Darmstadt und<br />

Tätigkeit als Gutachter in der Finanzindustrie aufgenommen.<br />
Seit dieser Zeit h<strong>at</strong> er umfangreiche Bewertungserfahrung im<br />
deutschen, europä<strong>is</strong>chen, US-amerikan<strong>is</strong>chen und japan<strong>is</strong>chen<br />
Markt gesammelt. Chr<strong>is</strong>toph Kettel h<strong>at</strong> bei der Eurohypo AG<br />
die Abteilung Immobilienmarktresearch aufgebaut und <strong>is</strong>t seit<br />
Oktober 2004 Leiter des Bereiches “<strong>Real</strong> Est<strong>at</strong>e Appra<strong>is</strong>al &<br />
Consulting” der Eurohypo AG mit insgesamt 85 Gutachtern in<br />
unterschiedlichen Ländern.
