Project Experience<br />

Marshall County Infrastructure Development - Project includes water and sanitary<br />

sewer trunk line, electric distribution system improvements, and roadway<br />

construction specifically for industrial development and attraction. The project will<br />

prepare several greenfield sites for new development due to increased utility<br />

capacities and access resulting in an increase in the number of businesses that<br />

will expand to Marshall County. Infrastructure improvements are proposed for five<br />

(5) jurisdictions as identified below.<br />

The type of infrastructure development in each of the following jurisdictions<br />

includes: 1.) Town of Argos - Water, Sanitary Sewer, Road & Rail. 2.) Town of<br />

Bremen - Water, Sanitary Sewer & Electric. 3.) Town of Bourbon - Water &<br />

Sanitary Sewer. 4.) Town of Culver - Water, Sanitary Sewer & Road. 5.) City of<br />

Plymouth - Water, Sanitary Sewer, Road & Rail.<br />

Marshall County EDC<br />

The City of Plymouth and Town of Bremen have experience in the development<br />

of industrial parks in their respective communities. Additionally, the Town of<br />

Argos and the Town of Bourbon are beginning to plan for future industrial park<br />

development as committees have been formed to discuss the process. The<br />

MCEDC Executive Director has prior experience in developing five (5) separate<br />

industrial parks, one of which received national recognition by the International<br />

Economic Development Council.<br />

Project process has started in the Towns of Argos, Bremen, Bourbon, and<br />

Culver, and the City of Plymouth.<br />

Project Timeline<br />

The project schedule includes the following: 1.) Master plan development for<br />

industrial parks in the Town of Argos & City of Plymouth. 2.) Committees in the<br />

Towns of Bourbon & Bremen have been organized.<br />
