2015 OTAGO WILDLIFE
PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
The 2015 Otago Wildlife Photography
Competition attracted the most entries
in its 16-year history, with 1,417 photos
submitted across the animal, plant and
environmental impact categories.
High numbers weren’t the only record set
by the 2015 competition; this year marks
the first time the competition was won by
an entrant in the 14 years and under age
group. Chester Rosie was dubbed Otago
Wildlife Photographer of the Year for his
image Sharing the sky.
This year also saw the introduction of
a new video category, wildlife in action,
which was open to all ages. Brian Anderson
was the category’s first winner with his
video Parenting.
