Regular meetings held to share<br />

ideas and information with<br />

Museum staff<br />

Monthly and weekly meetings are held across and between divisions, teams and managerial levels to ensure staff are<br />

fully informed and engaged in the running of the Museum and delivery of our strategic goals.<br />

• Weekly Executive meeting<br />

• Monthly Finance meetings – the Executive meet to discuss financial reports across all divisions and review<br />

all commercial activities relating to the operation of the Museum.<br />

• Monthly Operational Mangers meeting – mangers across all divisions meet to discuss activities that impact<br />

across the Museum, including health and safety and key actions.<br />

• Monthly Staff Briefing – reports are given by divisional directors, new staff are introduced and Museumwide<br />

issues are presented.<br />

• Exhibition project teams – meetings include representatives from all teams involved in the development of<br />

exhibitions, including Design, Interactives, Content, Marketing, Education, Facilities and Programmes.<br />

boards and committees<br />

The Museum meets regularly, and as required, with a wide variety of key stakeholders and contributors to share ideas<br />

and knowledge, and to develop new and beneficial initiatives.<br />

• Museum Director, member of the Advisory Committee at the University of Otago Centre for Science<br />

Communication.<br />

• Director, Marketing and Development is a member of Dunedin Host Board.<br />

• Director, CRE sits on the Dunedin Arts and Culture Committee.<br />

• Museum Director is on the Association of Friends of the Otago Museum Council.<br />

• Museum Director is a member of the Dunedin Shanghai Association.<br />

• Commercial Director is on the Tertiary Precincts Sector Committee.
