Its cultural life<br />
Artists’ favourite spot for decades, Sidi Bou Saïd is<br />
now important for its art galleries. We can also<br />
discover the sumptuous palace of Erlanger, renamed<br />
Ennejma Ezzahra, which also houses the Arabic and<br />
Mediterranean Music Centre. It contributes to the<br />
development of traditional Arabic music. We admire<br />
its magnificent museum of musical instruments, its<br />
architecture as well as its wonderful gardens. Other<br />
place dedicated to cultural visits, the Dar El Annabi,<br />
former residence of mufti El Annabi now converted<br />
into a museum. Its construction dates back to the<br />
18th century. Called the “Palace of a thousand and<br />
one nights“, it comprises about fifty rooms and<br />
presents objects of Muslim-Arab style.<br />
This colourful, charming and ageless city is one of<br />
