MY TOP WALKS...
With spring in sight like the flowers
coming to life again, so do my
owners… this means more ‘walkies’
are on the cards for me.
This month I have decided to share my top walkies
with my fellow furry friends. Wagging tails at the
ready guys you’re gonna bloomin’ love this
one.
The beach brigade - Aldeburgh to
Thorpeness
Two towns, but just a couple
of miles apart, for short legs,
walkies between the two takes,
approximately 50 minutes. For
owners, both towns have lots of
interesting places to explore, they
have the best fish & chips and I love the
scraps. Be aware though only during May
to September can you take us furry ones on the
beach… don’t forget to bring a towel to wipe our
paws!
Hunting and hiding in the woods - Dunwich Forest
The forest is set to the north of the main road to
Dunwich, there’s a wicked circular path through the
border of heath and forest. Although I like to take
the lead and venture into the forest areas, its great
for playing hunting games or a round or two of hide
and seek!
Sea salt and sailing - Pin Mill (near Ipswich)
The surrounding countryside offers us salty sea dogs
a multitude of options for exercise and fun. You and
your pup can enjoy a two-mile circular
walk that leads you on your return to
the village directly to the Butt &
Oyster, another famously dogfriendly
Suffolk pub. Water for
us… and a well-deserved pint
for you!
Paw the explorer - Long
Melford to Lavenham railway
walk
Travel through woods and open
fields; a great place to see wild flowers,
birds and animal wildlife in their natural habitat.
Open spaces for us to run our little paws off whilst in
safe surroundings.
So wherever you decide to explore don’t forget your
doggie bags, a towel in case we venture a little too
far into the dirt and some water for us, its thirsty
work after all. If you have any favourite places
tweet me @bouncearchie!
