treatment programmes<br />
F cus...<br />
As you may or may not know, I donate weekly yoga classes to Focus 12<br />
clients on their residential treatment programme and I am passionate about<br />
the work the charity does.<br />
Every year I try to do as much as I can to<br />
fundraise for them. Last year was the world’s<br />
largest assault course (200 obstacles over 20<br />
miles) and this year’s event is happening a<br />
little late... April to be exact.<br />
So what will I be doing this<br />
year? I will probably feel like<br />
Kate Winslet (in the Titanic)...<br />
but with me being considerably<br />
shorter, not looking anything like<br />
Kate Winslet and without the<br />
ship, the icebergs, Leonardo Di<br />
Caprio or Celine Dion singing in<br />
the background...<br />
Yep - wing walking... no point in<br />
doing marathons or parachute<br />
jumps etc (been there done those) - it’s time<br />
for something a little more challenging. This<br />
ties in beautifully with the wonderful Y12SR<br />
team coming to the UK to hold their FIRST<br />
leadership training programme outside of the<br />
USA, in conjunction with Focus 12 and Yoga At<br />
The Boiler House (the beautiful bespoke yoga<br />
studio where all the Focus 12 and Y12SR classes<br />
are held).<br />
This truly is something to<br />
shout about, whilst strapped<br />
to the wing of a plane<br />
obviously. Donating<br />
