Cómo manejar un negocio sin una oficina

En el pasado manejar un negocio
de éxito significaba un
espacio de oficina inundado
con tecnología. Hoy, es posible manejar
un negocio con nada más que
un teléfono y una tableta PC. Con
una banda ancha móvil, servicios
en base a cloud y poder del computador
literalmente en la palma de su
mano, los dueños de negocio pueden
mover sus empresas dentro del
ambiente de gerencia de negocio
virtual.
El profesor emérito Dexter Dunphy
predijo que en el futuro el “lugar de
trabajo ya no se definiría por el edificio
de oficina pero una colección
de interacciones invisibles, ayudados
por la tecnología”
El trabajo móvil/remoto ha estado
ganando ritmo por muchos años.
La investigación de Intel y Dell
revelaron que más de un tercio de
trabajadores creen que ellos son
más productivos trabajando remotamente.
El estudio que vio de cerca
como la fuerza de trabajo está evolucionando
concluyó que la oficina
como la conocemos hoy está desapareciendo.
Steve Lalla, vicepresidente y gerente
general de Cloud Client Computing,
Dell, dijo: “Como lo muestra
la investigación, ahora más que
nunca, la oficina no está definida
por un escritorio dentro de las paredes
de un empleador. Con constante
conectividad borrando las

awash with technology. Today,
it is possible to run a business with
nothing more than a phone and a
tablet PC. With fast mobile broadband,
cloud-based services and
powerful computing power literally

Mobile/remote working has been
