other similar in nature which have been previously approved by the<br />
Council.<br />
2. Each committee shall at the next regular Council meeting submit a report<br />
on all matters referred to it unless a longer time be granted by vote of the<br />
Council, <strong>and</strong> such report shall be entered in the proceedings. Such report<br />
shall recommend a definite action on each item <strong>and</strong> shall, be approved by<br />
a majority of the committee. Any committee may require any City<br />
officer or employee to confer with it <strong>and</strong> supply in<strong>for</strong>mation in<br />
connection with any matter pending be<strong>for</strong>e it. Minority reports may be<br />
submitted. In addition, the Water <strong>and</strong> Wastewater Utility Board shall<br />
submit to the Common Council each month, prior to its regular monthly<br />
meeting, a copy of the minutes of prior month’s Water <strong>and</strong> Wastewater<br />
Utility Board monthly meeting(s). (Ordinance 2013-2245 adopted 3-5-<br />

3. An aye <strong>and</strong> nay vote shall be taken on each committee report<br />
immediately following its submission provided that any Alderperson<br />
may require a separate vote on any ordinance, resolution or other matter<br />
in any report.<br />
4. The approval of a committee report in which the adoption of an<br />
ordinance, resolution, or other matter is recommended shall comprise<br />
final action on such ordinance, resolution or other matter providing that<br />
any ordinance recommended <strong>for</strong> adoption shall have had one full reading<br />
be<strong>for</strong>e the Council at a meeting of the Council, unless an action on an<br />
ordinance shall be taken pursuant to a meeting motion temporarily<br />
suspending the rules.<br />
