• Non “Grip-Sensitive” - One length works in “any” thickness over .030" (0.76 mm).
• Blind - Installs from one side of the work piece.
• Installation will not mar parent material.
• High resistance to torque-out - in attachment applications, properly installed
AT Series Inserts will normally fail high strength bolts.
• Portable tooling allows installation anywhere convenient on assembly lines.
• Nearly flush installation - approximately .015" protrusion. Can be made
technically flush by sightly countersinking the hole.
• Install “before or after” painting or plating.
• No hole de-burring required.
• Uses standard drilled holes.
A "Non-Grip Sensitive” insert that will work in "any" thickness over .030" (0.76 mm), even in buried holes. An
installation tool is used to pull a "cone" shaped nut into the sleeve expanding it into the parent material. The axial
knurl under the flange is forced into the parent material insuring superior torque-out resistance.
