The A-W Series Insert is ideal for use in “SOFT MATERIALS” such as plastics, fiberglass, wood,
structural foam, aluminum, etc. An installation tool pulls a “cone” shaped nut into a sleeve expanding
the unique “DIAMOND KNURL” into the parent material resulting in very high torque-out resistance and
pull-out values. The A-W Series Insert can be used in thinner materials where the shallowest insert
protrusion on the backside is desired.

regardless of the insert material and therefore look alike. IDENTIFICA-
TION “GROOVES” have been cut into the “NUT” portion of the insert for
visual identification. The sketch to the right explains the grooves.
