Hope Inc: A Place for New Beginnings By Chris Hamilton, Region Charity Chair Hope is not a dream, but a way of making dreams a reality. That’s exactly what the Maverick Region continues to make come true for the Huffaker- Hughes Hope House. All through the year, the club helps the shelter with some basic necessities and more. Thank you for the donations given at Founders’ Day with the Silent Auction that was such a great success. Another way to help make our Holiday Party a great event is by giving Walmart gift cards. EVERYONE is invited to share in the holiday spirit by attending the annual Huffaker-Hughes Hope House Christmas Party on Saturday, <strong>December</strong> 21 at the First Presbyterian Church at 410 NW 2nd Street in Mineral Wells, starting at noon until 2:00 PM. We will be giving the gift cards to the families who are in need, and we also are able to show our appreciation to the staff with a gift card, too.
