What is the Pastoral structure like?
Pastoral Organisation
Every student is allocated to a Form Tutor with whom they will register twice a
day. Your Form Tutor is the first person to whom you would turn for help and
advice. The Form Tutor has the responsibility for overseeing the welfare,
behaviour and academic progress of students in their tutor groups.
Each Year group is led by a Head of Year. The Head of Year has overall
responsibility for the students in that year. The Senior Deputy Head , Mr
Reddin, co-ordinates the work of the pastoral staff.
To ensure consistency, if your parents have a query or a need to pass on
information, they are asked to contact the Form Tutor, who will forward the
relevant information to the Head of Year or the Senior Deputy Head as
necessary. Parents of boarding students may also contact the Boys’
Housemaster, Mr Gilchrist or the Girls’ Housemistress, Mrs Leite.

academic year starting in September 2016.
