Sec. CCCC-1. 22 MRSA §1552, sub-§4, as amended by PL 2003, c. 673, Pt. CC, §1 is<br />
further amended to read:<br />
4. Application fees. All application fees must be deposited in the General FundHealth<br />
Inspection Program account in Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention program, Other<br />
Special Revenue Funds to be used by the department to defray administrative costs.<br />

SUMMARY<br />
This Part reassigns the application fee for a retail tobacco license that is now deposited in<br />
the General Fund, to the Health Inspection Program account in Maine Center for Disease Control<br />
and Prevention program, Other Special Revenue Funds to cover the costs of administering<br />
licensing for tobacco retailers.<br />
PART DDDD<br />
Sec. DDDD-1. 22 MRSA §1700-A, as affected by PL 2005, c. 672, §§6,8, is repealed.<br />
Sec. DDDD-2. 36 MRSA §5290, as amended by PL 2011, c. 685, §10, is repealed.<br />

SUMMARY<br />
This Part reflects the elimination of the Maine Asthma and Lung Disease Research Fund<br />
program within the Department of Health and Human Services. This part also eliminates the<br />
option to designate a portion of an individual’s tax refund be paid into the Maine Asthma and<br />
Lung Disease Research Fund.<br />
PART EEEE<br />
Sec. EEEE-1. 22 MRSA §3104, sub-§14, as amended by PL 2009, c. 291, §2, is<br />
repealed.<br />
Sec. EEEE-2. 22 MRSA §3104, sub-§14-A is enacted to read:<br />
14-A. Denial of assistance based on felony drug offense. An individual convicted of a<br />
felony drug offense after August 22, 1996 is not eligible for food assistance. As used in this<br />
subsection, "felony drug offense" means an offense that, at the time of conviction, is punishable<br />
by imprisonment for one year or more under any law of the United States or of any state and that<br />
has as an element the possession, use, or distribution of a controlled substance as defined in<br />
Section 102(6) of the Controlled Substances Act, 21 United States Code 802(6) or a scheduled<br />
