SUMMARY<br />
This Part clarifies that the record search fee schedule established by the State Court<br />
Administrator is for those record searches performed by Judicial Department employees and<br />
refines the definition of record search fees deposited into the fund to mean fees for record<br />
searches performed by Judicial Department employees.<br />
This Part also allows Supreme Judicial Court to raise or establish fees on on-line electronic<br />
case search, document delivery and filing for the purpose of paying the cost of maintaining an e-<br />
filing and court information management system.<br />

Sec. ZZZZ-1. 2 MRSA §6, sub-§5, as amended by PL 2013, c. 405, Pt. A, §2, is further<br />
amended to read:<br />
5. Range 86. The salaries of the following state officials and employees are within salary<br />
range 86:<br />
Director of Labor Standards;<br />
State Archivist;<br />
Director, Division of Land Use Planning, Permitting and Compliance;<br />
Chair, Maine Unemployment Insurance Commission;<br />
Child Welfare Services Ombudsman; and<br />
Director of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.<br />

amended to read:<br />
