UCD and PwC promote talent development
University College Dublin (UCD) and
PwC Ireland have agreed a seven-year
strategic partnership. The agreement
includes three key areas where the
organisations will work together:
education and talent development;
thought leadership and innovation;
and corporate social responsibility. The
arrangement involves collaboration on
the support of leadership development
of high-performance, high-potential
talent; development of internship
programmes, mentoring and academic
programmes as well as joint research
and promoting equality in education

Mazars tax partner, Noel Cunningham,
was one of 16 members from a range of
leading companies in Ireland to visit
Brussels recently as part of a delegation
from the European Chamber of Ireland
to discuss Brexit-related issues. The
specific purpose of this two-day trip
was to ensure that key EU decisionmakers
understood the challenges
Brexit will present for businesses
operating in Ireland.
The delegation met with, among
others, the German EU Commissioner,
Günther Oettinger; Irish EU
Commissioner, Phil Hogan; Irish and
German MEPs; and Irish and German
permanent representatives.
