On May 20, Pippa Middleton said “I do” to
financier and former race car driver James
Matthews in a million-dollar affair that has
already been hailed as the wedding of the year.
“They looked so happy,” a source tells In Touch of
Pippa, 33, and James, 41, who lucked out with “glorious”
weather for their big day. The estimated 150
attendees — including older sister and future queen
Kate, Prince William and Prince Harry — gathered
at St. Mark’s Church in Berkshire, England,
for a picture-perfect ceremony before enjoying a
champagne reception — where Harry was joined
by girlfriend Meghan Markle, who did not attend
the ceremony — and heading to the nearby estate
of Michael and Carole Middleton to celebrate with
an additional 200 guests. Says the source: “It could
not have been a more magical day.”
Kate was also
tasked with
wrangling the
children,
including
daughter
Charlotte, 2.
Although she
wasn’t the
matron of honor,
Kate did her
sisterly duty
and tended to
the bride.
